After becoming a licensed caregiver, I worked for a nursing home in Tokyo for 3 and a half years.
Safe and comfortable environment
At that time, I was an inexperienced 24-year-old who had never lived away from my family.
Internship enriched by many events
There were tons of fun activities and events both Japanese and American throughout the year, and all the interns worked together hard to organize them.
Also much fun in off-time
On off-days, I used to go to one of my favorite cities Berkeley and cruised through the students or studied just like them in UC Berkeley libraries.
What I learned from the internship
Participating in a year-long internship at a Japanese senior home in America was such a precious experience for me.
