When I graduated from a community college in Chico, CA, I obtained OPT (Optional Practical Training) and worked at Umenoki Home.
I only had a little idea about "caregiving"
I only had a little idea about "caregiving, " and working at Umenoki gave me a full of surprises.
I wondered if I was more help to residents than they were to me
Seeing the residents smile always made my day.
Experience taught me what it really means to work
Other Umenoki staff members helped me so much as well.
