I was so worried in the beginning to come to San Francisco

I volunteered at Umenoki Home for 2 weeks from 8/26 through 9/7.

Everything is around the resident

Once the internship program began, I learned so many things.

First you have to know the patient well

Communicating with various residents who have various backgrounds and physical abilities taught me how important it is to get to know each patient well.

I also learned about America through this experience

I learned through this internship that the core of caregiving (nursing) is universal.
